Hey all reading this with interest, I have the k tec manifold and its worth waiting for...prepare for the howl!. As for having issues with K tec I can sympathise, contact Sean the manager sean@ktrsport.com he will sort any issues you have, I dealt with him and he was very helpful indeed.

Thanks for that, yeah I'm looking forward to the sound. Never heard one with a Scorpion exhaust either.

Not sure emailing him will help as they said they won't get one delivered until mid next week! And hopefully to me Friday. If it doesn't arrive next week I'll email him I think.

Just ring up and ask for Sean mate. I dealt with him exclusively when I was getting my 172/197 hybrid engine up and running on the gen90. Thanks to Sean, my car was the 2nd or 3rd car in existence to run the full vvt on a gen90.

I have nothing but praise for the guy, and he's an enthusiast as well.

Missed this post mate. Nice one. I've given up to be honest. Sean may well be a top bloke but whoever deals with his admin simply isn't on it. Never had any work done by them so can't say anything about that. I can say I bloody LOVE the induction kit though. Fair play though fella.

Dropped car off this morning, they told me it'll take 5.5 hours according to the guide time but I said some people have them off in 3 so let's hope!

All the bolts look in good condition so hopefully it'll be quick!

Haha so got it fitted! Took four hours as it was a bit faffy but does sound great and a lot of the bass has been removed which is nice for cruising, and it bangs!

Bad side?

Well the fitment isn't as good as I hoped, it sits about an inch lower than the standard one which is odd. Pic below helps, could only fit 2 fingers in the gap, now look!

Small update:

Spoke to Ktec and they said it's most likely the lower engine mount that has gone which is why it's dropping down too much.

Time for some power flex goodies!

Been super quiet but had a few small things done, had a new front right suspension arm fitted. New lower arm bush and gearbox bush, sadly even though KTEC said this would fix the problem of my manifold sitting too low it’s fine nothing to it!

Will be ringing them to complain!

Luckily the new mounts and arm were much needed and do feel good, gearbox actually feels a bit better and slightly nicer when changing. I can feel extra vibration through the wheel but only when idle.
