Albi Blue 197 RS

Hi Guys,

My Name is Sam, I am 25 from London! Placed a deposit on my dream Clio RS in Albi Blue, she is a 2007 (57) reg with 96,000 on the clock but with full service history and cambelt done aswell. As a matter of precaution I will do a full service and see how the belts look. I work for Audi as a Service Advisor so have a boring Audi A5 as a company car, so the goal with the RS is to make it a weekend hooligan and an occasional track or 2 a year. Wanted one of these since I passed my test but couldn't afford one at the time so bought a 1.2 Dynamique which in my head was an RS!! Now finally convinced the missus to let me have a toy I couldn't think for a better car. The car im picking up has a few mods already to it which ill list in a build thread, I want to make the car mind on the outside and nicer on the inside but mechanically strong enough to take short bursts of hard driving. Anyway ill stop rambling, Ill upload some photos on the weekend of a before and after a good detail so you guys can see what I've bought.

Guys, I can not even begin to explain how amazing this car is! I used to have a 3.2 V6 TT which I loved then got a 2017 Audi S3 when I thought was incredible but this is hands down the best car I've ever owned!! The level of engagement and handling is mind blowing!! Here is a list of the mods the car came with, would love some feel back to see how good these are but in all fairness im in love haha!

If you need an excuse to drive it this weekend, a few of us are doing Snetterton on Sunday, so more than welcome to come along for some banter and have a passenger ride (or even book the track day!) - will be a few who aren't participating.

Just meeting at the circuit. I'm leaving from Kent at 6.30am to get there for the driver briefing (I'm gonna double check that actually!), but if you're coming along to watch, you can turn up at any time.
