Air Feed....thoughts?

Since fitting my ktec induction kit which I must say I absolutely love, I was thinking about the air supply. I have since removed the blanking plate on the bumper and in behind the bumper.

What are peoples thoughts on an actual feed that fits into the front bumper and connects to the existing air feed so as to supply a much better air supply?

I was thinking something along the lines of the picture below just to give you an idea.

And I mean for it to slot in here;

Do you think it would provide any benefits?

Yeah, but I mean an small extension right out to the front of the bumper so as to funnel air much better direct to the filter.

Ah I see, yeah why not. Maybe get a feed from so where else too

Might be worth doing with it been a open cone.

I used to have a thought about extra air feed when I had a std airbox, but then now I've the ktec induction kit, I have no idea where I should place the air feed.

Just stick a big old bonnet scoop! Job done

In all seriousness I've want to get some better feeds to the cone too, will have a look at possible ducting areas
