Air con, opinions?

Other than sh*t, how do people find their air con gets on?
My 197 cup is actually warmer when its turned on..best with the windows down. It was topped up 2 weeks ago.

On my 200 it gets cold, not ice cold but more than you'd need it to.

Had it on today in my 200 and it was just right, not freezing but a lot cooler.

Mine is ok ish ut as I have just taken my bumper off to fit new splitter the condition of the condenser can't help much

Ya when I had the 197, it was totally crap!

Now, the 182 is like an ice cube!!!! It's wonderful!

My 197 air con is definitely not as cold as my 182 was. It's better than it was though as I've had it topped up. Try putting it on re-circulate and it'll get colder then. I'll admit though it needs to be on full blast on a properly hot day.

Wish i hadnt said anything now...looks like mine isnt kicking out cold air (at all).
Thats another thing to add to the list for next Wednesdays dealership visit.

Ive read some horror storys after trawling the forums here...hopefully ill be ok. I took the fuse case off and the "manual air con" fuse isnt even there..every other fuse is. When i press the air con button, the light comes on. My car makes no sense.

Depending where you Go, most places re gas for £40 +
