Hi all, I'm Charlie.
I'm considering fitting a rear anti roll bar to my completely standard 2007 197 and would really appreciate some advice.
I live in a city with some pretty crap roads on my commute so don't want affect the ride over the bumps too much if at all. For when I'm out of town, if possible I'd like to make turn in a bit more precise without making the car snappy in any way.
A garage has recommended one of these: Whiteline Rear Anti-roll Bar ARB - 20mm heavy duty blade adjustable. The fellow there says it's for a mk2 but will apparently fit a mk3.
Should I go ahead or should I keep it standard? Would a different bar be better? Any help please would be great.
Also, I spoke to my insurer about this and after a bit of back and forth to an underwriter, they agreed that I could go ahead with it. I was just wondering how far an insurer like say Churchill or Admiral will allow you to go in modifying your car before premiums change or they decline to insure?
Thanks in advance, hope you're all having a great bank holiday!
