Accelerator pedal "click" feel

I'm not sure why its doing it, never done it before....
When I'm in/out of gear it clicks about 3/4 of the wayto the end of it. It requires slightly more force once its got there. Only done it on the way home from work today
Any ideas?

It maybe the kick down? There is a certain point thought the accelerator travel that if you have the speed limiter or cruise on it will over ride.
Example. On speed limited at 30mph. Press accelerator. Nothing push it all the way. Over ride and you set off.
