a bit of a miss

does anybody have a problem with a bit of a miss even when the engine is warm
i know it's not running right as its lost power and i took it for a drive today
got it fully warm, pulled up at home and listened to it and could hear a bit of a miss, i only just bought the car last month and it's been serviced,
could they of changed the plugs but used the wrong plugs, it went in last week but i was told the tech thought the car was fine but as soon as i jumped in it i knew it wasn't right, its going back in tomorrow for sun roof doing(sorry i keep mentioning that), and they want me to take a tech out for a spin to feel this power problem,

anyone in leeds want to take my car for a spin so i know its not me

ok so maby not a miss as it sounds like this, and aparently from searching google its a standard thing and can be improved with a map

but i do have powerloss through out the rev range, 1st 2 weeks it ran fine then 3rd week it would have power loss every other day and 4th week its had power loss every day
it moves like the 1.6 focus i had

If you live in Leeds and your worried, you could pop it along to RS Tuning, those lads really know their stuff.

I think there might be a rolling road day for the club planned there soon too so you could pop along to that and see how its performing.

cheers fella's, robo im going to come along to that

just taken the car in and took the tec for a spin and showed him that the
car is revving but not really going anywhere but not much feed back from him
just said the exhaust note is louder so maby a problem with the cat,
theres no way im having there isnt a problem with it,

Im just guesing, but it can partially block the exhuast causing loss of power

wow im starting to get annoyed with the dealer now took car in on 16th
for the sunroof and power problem doing, then rang back on 24th to see how it was doing, i had a reply of we have the car back from the sunroof company and now just need to sort the power problem out, so i thought ok i will leave it over the weekend, so just rang them back today to get a reply of sorry we haven't had anybody to pick your car up from the sunroof place, eh? they told me they had it back with them

so what do i do, go to the managers or ruk?
2 weeks to do the sunroof is ridicules, they said its because it has to be cut out and bonded back in, its a similar process to the window screen but it doesn't take a window screen fitter 2 weeks to fit a window screen?

i suppose they will bring the snow into it,
the courtesy car is doing my head in it's only a 1.2

sorry but that dealer has a reputation.....messed one of my mates around with his megane....

im starting to learn that, this is my 1st time buying from a big dealers like this
i normally go to smaller dealers as they look after you better i feel, but i could not help buying my 197 from there i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it,
the only reson i have taken it there for repairing is because of the warranty, once that's gone i will use the specialist's and recommended places

ok another phone call but to a manager this time,
ive been told some truth now, they have had it so long because they can't stop the leak they have messed with it through the day for 8 day's putting water on it each night to come in the next day to find it's still leaking, so there now looking into a new sunroof all together, they haven't even looked at the power problem yet just hooked it up to diagnostics but there's no codes :swear:

Hope things start to get resolved man, would help if they were straight up in the first place so you could have a realistic scale of time instead of not knowing!
