6cd changer

OK I'm going to try and retro fit a cabasse + cd changer. I'm looking at buying THIS and THIS but i'm worried that I will need both cabasse parts so the amp and THIS cd changer

I know there are a few problems with trying to get the cables extended under the seats. Do you need a code for both the CD changer and the amp or is it encoded in the ECU?

Ok, neither of these parts look like the items in my car.

Extending the ISO cables for power and speakers should be a pop, the leads may even be available from Renault as mine appears to have the ISO plugs in the usual place behind the dash, but connected to an extension to take them to the under seat area. Extending the display and steering column remote connectors could be more of a problem, similarly the aerial and of course the plug that goes back to the CD changer.

Dash area to under seat - ISO power, ISO audio, blue and yellow plugs for display and remote, aerial.

Under seat to dash area - red plug to CD changer

I think the CD changer only has one connection into the rear.

Also, I think the display on Cabasse cars might be different...

Ok, in no particular order;

Note, not only do you need the DIN size unit but also the bracket and front cover.

And a few which should show how I think the display is different - it is all dot matrix, whereas I think the standard display has a part for the clock that is more like Figure of 8 LCD letters, think old digital watch;

Hope this helps, if there is anything else that I can help with, just ask.
