4th service!

Hi, my 4th service is due quite soon and I emailed a French specialist near me for a quote.
It came back at 358.02
He said its a fairly major service as its brake fluid change and all coolants.
Is this accurate and is that a fair price to pay?

Sounds quite a lot that to be honest, I had mine done for £250 with all genuine parts.

It is a big service, everything bar the belts get changed from what I remember.

My last service (three year) was only £160 from the dealer I bought it from and they changed brake fluid for free

By genuine Renault parts, then pay labour it's alot cheaper that way!

Cheers guys, just rang renualt Cardiff and they quoted 265 with a free mot.
Waiting to hear back from another Garage.
Most probs go for the Renault one tbh

£200 at a main dealer (after price matching local specialist). Not 100% convinced they did the brake fluid or coolant though.........

look at the calipers and the bleed nipples - should be able to tell they have been disturbed

as for coolant is should look "clean"..if in doubt get the specific gravity checked if its been changed it should be at least 50%

Yeah got 2 around by me mate. One was the 358 and waiting to hear off the other one(hope its cheaper as they give you a 4 speed Citroen ax for the day lol)

Can you buy renault parts and get them fitted at a different renault garage then??

Yeah could do, how much the parts be? Don't need the air filter as got a ITG.
