3" Custom Exhaust Costs?

Hi

Has anyone priced or bought a 3" Turbo back custom exhaust previously?

Had mine mapped today and the exhaust has held it back at top end of the rev range.

Just trying to work out the cost of the exhaust system and remap to potentially gain another 15hp. Not sure its going to be worth the expense.

Who mapped the car out of interest, also curious about the 15hp calculation?

I'm guessing you've got an R26/225 engine, what power did you end up with?

RS Tuning mapped the car. I believe without forging the internals of the 225 lump you have to cap the power to 300hp.

Ended up with 284hp 300ftlb, hence the 15hp calc.

from what ive read it's 300lb/ft of torque you're limited to on standard internals, specifically the rods. It's torque which will kill your rods rather than horsepower. Sounds like you're sailing close to the wind there!

Can of worms the limit of the rods. Mine's running 295/315 with the following... R26 engine, 250 turbo, 630cc injectors, FMIC, IK and mapped at RST.

3" decat and link pipe into 2.75 Milltek.
