Its innevitable, look at the prices of 182s they dropped to the same level as 172s. So you need to be watching the 197 prices really.

I’ve been watching 197s / 200s for a while, more so before buying my 197. 200s appear to be falling quite a bit. I reckon it won’t be too long before 200s are available in the high 6’s for models with slightly higher mileage. 197s haven’t moved much over last 6 months you can still get the odd very high mileage example with no cambelt change for around the 4 mark which was similar to when I was looking at the start of the year.

Kevin, when I bought my 200 there was an albi blue cup 61 plate (recaros) with 12k on the clock up for £12800. Dealer Manager was driving it daily. It's now down to £10400. 3 months time, £2400 knocked off! There's a black 13 plate 200 unregistered near me aswell, up for just shy of £15000 it only has 40 miles on the clock

i dread to think what my 197 is worth, its a 2006 with 92000 miles.

mines a 2009 200 cup with 26k... bought it for just shy of 10k but not sure what its worth now

Bought mine for £8800 19 months ago so they've been available cheapish for some time.

Realistically probably worth £6.5k private sale tops now if it were for sale?

I got my 200 cup , recaros and a/c for £6900 with 2 years warranty back in Feb, personally I don't think the prices have dropped too much recently
