197 Lux - New Owner

Hello, all

Just picked up a Clio 197 Lux (the one with the leather seats and all the extras). Very pleased with it. Even more pleased when I googled it to find out that there's only 29 Lux versions registered in the UK.

Only question I had was that the accelerator pedal seems to feel like its got two stages. I push it partly down and then I meet a small amount of resistance. If I push harder though then it carries on right to the floor to give full power.

Is this normal with this car? If anyone can shed any light then that would be great.

My pedals the same, like a 2 stage effect. I know that when I have past the point I gotta hold on LOL

I like it tbh.

The "stage 2" as you have put it removes the speed limiter. so if you need to overtake a car infront u just tap the "stage 2" and its all your own pedal, but before that it will be limited to what you set it to.

Its worth a little play with on the motorway to understand it

Only 29? must be even rarer in blue, most of the ones i've seen were nimbus.
