197 gear change beeper - possible???

Just wondering if it would be possible to rig the green upshift light up to the seatbelt alarm so I get an audible gear change indicator like in the 200?

Pretty sure you could fella, if you change to 200 clocks, bet you could modify the 197 dials as well, I'd want to do it on a spare set though!!

just fit a 200 instrument pack....that works been done on a car on here :clap:

Once u have a beep u forget after a few days u get that used to hearing it well I did when I had an rx8 so I wouldn't bother

Ye, someone on here has fitted 200 clocks to their 197. Litchy maybe???? Would like to have a beep on mine too. I'm sure it could probably be done on the 197 clocks though, I bet an electrian could just take the LED light feed and add a beeper in the middle.
