197 Cup - Front Brake Pad swap

Hi guys,

The front pads on my 197 cup have near enough had it so im gonna renew them next weekend, just wanted a bit of advice on the following;

- I've gone for the pagid pads from Eurocarparts, has anyone had any experiences with these good or bad?

- When I come to change the pads do I have to remove the whole caliper or should the pads just slide through the hole once I have removed the retaining pins and clip?

Help on this would be much appreciated.

Hey, welcome to the forum

To change the pads you should be able to just punch the pins out and the slide the pads out. However, if your discs have any lip on them then this might not be so easy. I had to loosen the calliper bolts to give a bit of slack to wiggle the pads out. If you do this, you'll need a 12mm hex socket
