    197: Bye bye Clio!

I've just gone from a UR 197 cup w/Recaros to a Renaultsport Megane DCI 175. My 197just didn't sparkle enough after my 182 cup. 41mpg, killer torque. Completely different experience, and space for the family :-)

    Why isn't the 197/200 a keeper?

Mines definitely a keeper. Just travelled 125 miles in her across Dorset and Somerset, mix of A and B roads, some pedalling, some cruising. Complete comfort, not bad mpg (31.4 avg including lots of back and forth following diversions) missus loves it. She's here to stay. And the car is too

    Renault Tunepoint Module

Hey guys and girls, I have searched the forum and web and couldn't find a definitive answer, so was hoping someone on here could confirm this. The Tunepoint module (that most of us have in the glove compartment) is the 3rd port a proper mini DIN socket or not....? Was just enquiring as to...

My first month with the 197

Make that +4...... My 182 Cup died...... So went out and bought a UR 197, with Cup suspension, in amazing condition. What a car. Every trip, short or long, has a feel good factor. Little quirks etc (like the kangarooing) let you know it's not a run of the mill shopping cart, and it grips...

Yeah i live in bournemouth and have a gw 200, only seen a handful since i got it 7 months ago There aren't many around down here that I've seen (slight exaggeration, I've seen 4-5 in the last 3 years)- more 1*2's than anything. I saw a Phase 1 V6 down at Sandbanks the other day still looks...

Think that's fair to say! This is one torsionally stiff little car. Indeed! I work in and around Bournemouth on the night scene, (have done for years) so might have even bumped into them at some point.

Thank you! Not seen another Ultra Red one in the area. Lots of Nimbus and Glaciers. Anyone out there near Bournemouth?

Thanks Swervin' she's in lovely condition. Just had her machine polished and Supagard'd. I had a 182 Cup which died (dropped a valve) so a 197/200 seemed a logical step. Completely different animal to the 182. Fit and finish is miles ahead. Good looking too.... I always look back at it and think...
