    197 has crank but no start

    Are you sure the starter is actually spinning the flywheel? Ie has the starter solenoid packed in

    200 - Chirp/whistle and occasional high idle

    Hmm, wouldn't worry too much about the knock sensor as that won't stop a start or cause a noise, no other error codes is concerning, faulty crank sensor would stop injection.

    200 - Chirp/whistle and occasional high idle

    Can you plug it into an OBD reader? Anything cheap will likely help you narrow things down, sounds like a vacuum leak but then not starting could be crank sensor or maybe the throttle body (which might be the cause of the chirping noise as well)

    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    Yeah I was thinking about this the other day, would be a challenge to build it for longer races, only thing that puts me off is the requirement for support on pit stops etc.

    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    Bit late on this, few weeks before the final at Silverstone I decided I wanted to fix an oil leak. At first I thought it was from the VVT seal or maybe the bolts but I could see it leaking heavily at the rear of the cam cover, 1 hour later and it looked like this.. You can see the leak was...

    Gearbox Issues - how do I know if it’s Synchros?

    Have you checked the top of the gearbox as when you select 2/4 you could be popping them off slightly.

    Slow throttle response?

    Sorry missed your other question but PCV on the throttle body is certainly worth cleaning or replacing if required.

    Slow throttle response?

    Do you have an OBD reader? It might be throttle pedal and/or connections but this will be stored as an error. Another possibility is brake/clutch sensors under the pedals but unlikely.

    Slow throttle response?

    These cars can ‘kangaroo’ at low revs but this might be your throttle body, I would take it off and give it a clean.

    Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

    Only one bolt (top right of pic) if you want to remove, use brake cleaner (not water) and tbh it’s a pain to clean and probably not worth it. FYI there is a sequence to torquing the sump back on if you haven’t seen it already.

    Bleeding ABS - HELP :')

    You want to do 8 before 7, ie. the system is under pressure when you close the valves.

    Bleeding ABS - HELP :')

    Fairly sure the procedure is detailing the commands for Clio II, which are equivalent to what you see on Clip but with a different ID. ie. AC004 == AC154

    Clio rs engine build (what cams?)

    I wouldn't class a change in cams as 'stock internals'

    Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

    Yes you need to remove the 4 bolts but no you don’t need to drop the box oil.

    222 from a stock engine?

    GW 200 CUP (clubsport->racecar->v2)

    Left Friday morning for a 4 hour drive up to Oulton, arrived in time to sign on for the afternoon testing session. 2 sessions, each 35 minutes, complete waste of money. First session lasted 20 minutes before a red which drained the remainder of the 35 minute session, 8 laps completed. Track...
