Mega work, really cool build! About to tackle the boot aerocatches this weekend myself. Going to gut the door as well and have the same brackets. How did you fix them to the inside and did you fix those first and mark the pin holes/catches from there?

Does this kit do away with the upper left hand torque mount in the engine bay?

Mine chatters intermittently on idle, only when cold. Same setup as the other chap in the thread, LSD (VAL Racing), 4.73 FD from a 021 Scenic box. TTV flywheel and standard clutch.

Same! Meant to be a weekend little thing I could hammer around on a Sunday morning and I've ended up refreshing the whole underneath, brakes, few cosmetic bits and I'm building a box now at the moment with a shorter final drive and an LSD.

Just fitted one this week myself. Standard breather plate is fine. What made me fit it was I changed my inlets for some port matched ones and when removing the old inlets they were caked is oily crap all over the inside. So I mounted a catch can in by the ABS pump, rocket breather into one...

I got my local exhaust crowd to chop the exhaust and manifold and change it over to the normal type flanges. Cuts out 90% of the issue.

Looks great. It's something id definitely have done myself when I refreshed the underneath of my car last winter. But I had so much to do in a short time, I just gave everything a clean down as I went as best I could.

Thanks, I have a Dacia Sandero item there to fit, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze in that location and very, very close to the stabilizer mount, I'm afraid it'll rub through. It actually looks the same as the Clio 4 rs one.

Sorry to hijack, you always seem to have an answer for most questions. Can I pick your brains and see if you could identify what car this expansion tank comes from?

When the shim was measured was the VAL diff longer or shorter than the original one and the shim went back in before the bearing? Have one to be fitted but my gearbox guy is a bit nervous.
