Part 2... Ordered a new wing to try at Oulton Park Slghtly smaller than the chasis mounted wing Safe to say I noticed a big difference at Oulton without the larger wing, throughout the day I adjusted the smaller wing all the way to it's maximum setting, but the car was no where near as...

Spring arrives which brings with it the first track day for 2025 so I have had to get the car all working ready for Oulton Park which meant finishing off some of the on going jobs from over winter. MK60E5. Will document a few bits of this which I have found out along the way. I am using -...

Yeah they do, I have looked at fibreglass and even carbon boots in the CSL style, would shave off a decent amount of weight too! Can certainly feel how much more settled the car is with the rear wing on high speed corners especially when rolling off the throttle too, it balances out the front...

Funny you should say this! I have been looking at the GTS ones to go on a new boot lid I've got sat in the garage, been considering going in that direction but wasn't bringing that option up yet! Great taste!

I haven't had any dealing with the M3 part numbered pumps, I think 813.3/817.3, But there is very little hardware difference between the E5 E90 and the version from the E92 M3 only being an internal yaw sensor on the M3 pumps. In terms of firmware the E90 version can be flashed to M3 firmware...

Albi Blue 200 >> BMW E46 Track Car

It's been a while so thought I'd have an update, lost interest with posting about things at the end of last year but thought some of the current stuff was worth talking about. The car didn't need much doing to it after Cadwell besides checking over the Aux Belt situation. Loaded up the night...

That’s it. Yeah the E36 was stripped last year and spent 6 months building the Cayman.

Thanks. Try to keep the updates coming and interesting. He doesn’t have one for the Porsche but eventually I think some of it will be posted on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/f0xxxxxy?igsh=ang2MGtkaXQ5bXYz

Cadwell Park Start of the day didn't go as planned... Sighting laps went off without a hitch but only managed about 5 laps in session one before loosing power steering through through hall bends, quick look at the dash and noticed battery light on... pulled off the circuit at the end of hall...

Summer Update. Not as many updates as there used to be but will try and keep it updated when I can. After finishing putting the car back together after stripping the rear end and fitting the new diff I started to do some prep for some dyno time. Noticed the swirl pot pressure was playing up...

Hopefully it’s worth it, lot of hours gone into putting this one together. I used to have a gripper in my clio box and it was fantastic. Driven a mini recently with a gripper and it just reminded me how good they are and the consistency every single time. Hopefully! Just want to be able to...

Not from the slicks. It’s something I’ve been putting a bandaid on for a year or two. Unless the rear of the car is pretty flat coming out of corners with both wheels on the floor the quaife tends to slip the inside wheel still. I’ve made improvements to keep the inside wheel on the ground...

Ordered myself a new diff. Didn't last long not touching it after Snetterton. Decided it was the end of the road for the quaife, it's been a great diff in the car which I've ran with a 3.38 and a 3.73 ratio. But I am finding the limit of it more and more with the car this past year...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Brand new set of Direzza. Now we're talking. I'm sure they'll be night and day compared to the MRF. Rarely hear a good thing about the MRF's so I'm sure it'll be a step you never go back on even if they do cost a fortune!

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Looks good in the video, I miss that high reving F4R, clipping the limiter sounds great. But can see the car not always following the driver input in some corners and lots of tyre noise. Might have said but how old are the tyres? Had a few heat cycles and past their best?

I was going to swerve this one and leave it at just posting the two videos but I am sure everyone is desperate to read about the car that's not a Clio.... Snetterton Prep Last few jobs before setting off for Snetterton. After killing the last set of front slicks at Cadwell Park I got a...

Albi Blue 200 >> BMW E46 Track Car

Yeah. It certainly feels it. Got the grip for the fast corners as well as little more power than smaller hatches on the straights making them a little more bareable but the M2 type cars just walk away from me in a straight line. Shame it was wet in the afternoon and only got half a day running...

Snetterton May 2024 Dropping a video in, tried the go pro mounted on the cage on the passenger side for a change. Might get around to a proper post at some point... For now I'm planning what to change next
