I think I've had less problems in my 172 than I have had in my 197 and 200

Already in hand.

So the 200 has hit 3k now and it's decided I can have the car either cold or hot no inbetween. 15 is cold air, and 16 hot air. Same temperature all the way through to the 20's. And the steering wheel has a slight shake to it at certain speeds. The joys of Renault ownership

Having my cables replaced they were seized on. They were real rusty and the hand brake wasn't even functioning in the end.

Hand brake cable was seized in the end replacing next week

Going to have check tomorrow I thought its just something to do with the cold -11 here in Germany

So recently when driving my 197 and pressing the clutch to change gear I'm getting a whistle/dump valve sound! It's definitely coming from the engine bay from what I can tell. As much fun as it is pretending I'm driving a turbo anyone else have anything similar??? Lol

Anything I can do to stop it in future?

Handbrake I think. It's been abit sticky in recent weeks. Today handbrake off as the car won't move even trying to drive backwards and forwards. Going try it later when it warms up any opinions? Common problem?

How hard are these to fit before I buy one for the 197? Airbag off job?

Well picked up my new 200 and the aux has a stupid red and white soccet so need to buy a new aux cable now, never come across a car with a dual one before thanks Renault!

Anyone know if a tune point will plug into the cabasse 6 disc head unit on a 197 maybe unplugging the 6 disc changer that's built into the dash?

I am a mechanical mong so all daunting to me wish you could just buy something. Would a tune point not connect directly? Also did you get Amy copies cd's to work in yours?

I have a cabasse with in built 6 cd hanger in the 197. what is the easiest way to connect an ipod not bothered about charging. I have noticed there is on option on the stereo to turn the Aux on and off?
