stripped cleaned and painted the calipers last week, one of my rear dust seals are torn, called nessmotors and asked for a caliper kit seals ect, they dont do them, guy said they would put a new caliper on it. sooo, iam on the hunt for a repair kit. any ideas?

it dosnot come into the mot anymore, they can only fail on break efficiency, and even with only one side of the caliper working there still quite good.

had this same problem, found the inside pad seized in caliper. and the disks wer rusted on the inside, new pads and a strip and clean of the calipers will sort it.

question. dose anyone know if the subframes on the older clios are the same, ie a 1.4 2004 same as a 2000 172 sport? i know its not a 197, but i know a few lads on here have had the earlyer clios. cheers

i had mine done 3 times, foc of course, get it to the dealer, and they will sort it,pic of mine on here somwhere. make sure they set the window back in right.

was just finding out what models they were, one i dragged with was cayman s, other was a carrera s, both the same guy, he upgraded to the carrera. and the one i didnot know who the guy was, gt3, it was quick to say the least. sorry for the confusion folks. ;/

had them on my vectra gsi, i found them to be good alround, quite a soft sticky tyre if i remember.
