    Rear washer jet

It goes down the right hand side of the car (OS), through the interior. If you pull the trim off near the drivers feet you should see it, the pipe was see through on my car. I've near heard of a blockage in the pipes before though, I would imagine more likely the washer motor is at fault.

    Brembo Bleed Nipple Size!

Hi Guys, I'm looking at giving my car its 4 year service at the weekend, so will be changing its brake fluid. Does anyone know what size the bleed nipples are on the Brembo's, as I’d like to change the rusty old ones for some nice new SS ones. Cheers Luke

    New HU, Integrated TomTom

It will stop your TomTom from working all together if you remove the standard head unit mate. I used this to get round the problem. http://www.paser.it/en/p/88/SW_Commands_Interface/For_Aftermarket_Radio/NaviBack_Renault/NaviBack_Renault_-_ISO/ Luke

    Help needed with wiring..

Sorry mate, been really busy at work. I got as far as tracking it from the TDC sensor to the injection computer then it just disappears, guess it changes to CAN bus at that point. Like you said i think the best chance is to tack into it there. The TDC sensor is shown in this thread by Foxspeed...

    Help needed with wiring..

I’ve had a look through the wiring diagram and i can’t see a wire dedicated for the rev counter. I might be wrong, but I can only assume it’s done with the CAN BUS system. I don't know if it will be any help, but when i retro fitted TomTom i picked up a speed signal for it direct from the ESP...

Contisportcontact 5-215/45R17 91W XL FR TL (Suitable for the 197?)

I imagine your right mate. I was only asking due to reading some good things about them in other threads, due to their stiffer side walls. Hopefully someone will be along soon that's had them fitted to shed a little light on the subject.

Contisportcontact 5-215/45R17 91W XL FR TL (Suitable for the 197?)

Thanks for the advice mate. So you don't think the XL will offer any benefit? Ive got the cup chassis so ride comfort isn't really my priority .

Contisportcontact 5-215/45R17 91W XL FR TL (Suitable for the 197?)

Hi Guys, I know this has been covered in previous threads but cant find a definitive answer. Are these tires good on a 197? and due to them being XL do i need to run them with an increased tire pressure? Cheers Luke

    satnav

Hahaha sorry mate, if you do decide to do it and want any advice just let me know. Also bear in mind that you will need the SD card and maps to get it to work, they weren’t cheap when i brought mine from TomTom.

    satnav

Cheers guys, was a bit of a pain to do but worth the effort in my opinion. It sits quite low in the dash so doesn't stick out that much, but i agree would be better if it folded away. It can also run TomTom player which will turn it into a media player, play MP3's and videos on it.

Sorry guys, have been away for the weekend. Probably cost me around £400, but if you don't want to use it with an aftermarket radio it would be a lot easier and cheaper. I managed to find a breakers that were scrapping a Clio TomTom 1.2 and got them to rip out everything i needed to fit it...

I put it in my 197. Great TomTom, but took alot of work and cost a lot to do. I think its worth it as i can't stand having things stuck on my windows.

    Roof Rack?

I've got the Thule Aero Bars as well fitted with their low profile foot pack. Great bit of kit, but wasn't cheap looks like it would stand up to a lot though.

    retrofitting tom tom...

Hi Ryan, Sorry mate, only just seen your reply. I think it’s probably cost me a little under £400. Most of that was the initial cost of buying the TomTom unit (although I have seen them much cheaper on eBay since "typical"). It does take quite a bit of tinkering to get working as it needs to...
