So in early november I got a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, all brand new. I just randomly checked the wear on the front tyres to find they were near the wear limit already :think: I realise softer compound = More grip = Faster wear, but I don't tend to spin my wheels or anything...

forgot to mention it looks like someone has tried to drill into it in the past... Might be looking at a new caliper? Not sure how far that hole goes and what is at the other end, but could shoving a punch down there and giving it a whack maybe loosen it up? I'm fairly limited with the tools...

Half way through replacing rear discs/pads and realise one of the pins on my rear caliper is not budging. Any tips/tricks to get it moving?

Could it maybe be different for various brands of discs? Just strikes me as odd that the pagid discs specifically say 280 for the rear, maybe different torques for different brands is all I can think of?

Bit odd that the new rear discs say tighten to 280nm...

About to replace the rear discs on my 197, struggling to get a consistent figure for the torque settings on the rear hub nut. Some say 170-175Nm others say 280Nm. Am I right in saying 280 is for the front Hub nut and 170 is for the rear hub nut? Cheers.

I had something similar when I picked the car up, tried replacing some of the blade fuses under the steering wheel and it fixed the strange behaviour I was getting. The fuses are shared between pretty random things that seem unrelated...

Probably a dodgy connection, normally is with these heaters. If you find a plug, just try to clean out the contacts a bit, Renault have a habit of putting too much current through the wires, they heat up and melt the plastic housing around the plug...

Mine rattles a bit sometimes, just assumed it was a loose something in the blower motor. Not really sure how to get to it but there is probably a guide somewhere in the how to section of the forums (Gotta be a member to access).
