Pioneer do the best Apple CarPlay head units in my opinion. I'm running a Pioneer head unit (standard not CarPlay) and just needed an adaptor for the steering wheel controls, don't see why it would be any different for CarPlay.

I agree mate, for the price it seems like a no brainer! Without getting too much off topic, Ktec induction kit plus a remap is just beautiful. The noise is unbelievable coupled up to a Scorpion or similar exhaust. Well worth getting.

Another @renaultpartsdirect fan. Wait for Paul to have a sale on (quite common) and pick a kit up then. I got mine on Black Friday last year just because of how much discount there was then had it fitted in February. Not a fan of eBay specials for something as serious as a cambelt kit.

Great unbiased review mate. I must say, having a passenger lap with @rupe30 at Spa quashed my thoughts that it was a waste of time. Could 100% see the difference when giving the throttle a little blip on downchange. I’ll look at getting one when I go on my next Clio spending spree over the winter.

Don't fancy putting all my eggs in one basket and moving completely. House share is on the cards potentially, would give me the option to come home at weekends etc, would certainly be easier on the fuel bill. Going for a management role, think I'll need a dad's car to get taken seriously...

That's why I'm thinking about some sort of estate big enough to tow the Clio. Could theoretically take it off the road. But not sure if I'd want to go that far, I thoroughly enjoy spirited B-road blasts as much as the next person. Would be a lot of money sat around to be driven 5-10 times a year...

Cheers John. Big move to Birmingham involved but it's the job I've been working towards for the last 3 years. Plus it's with a market leader in the Transport Industry, so big internal opportunities once the foot is in the door. Just gotta show up tomorrow and hope I make a positive impression...
