All standard as far as I know when I bought it in November.

Is it possible to change the sensor by just removing the black front cover of the wing mirror or do I have to take off the glass first? I have no reading at all on the screen -could there be another problem other than a faulty sensor?

Wiper ARMS -that's easy! Anyway had to smash both the plastic clips on the blades and a good force of screwdriver on the metal arm to get them off . The new Bosch blades just fitted perfectly ,very easily and do (as usual) a superb job.

Yes the wing mirrors were resprayed before I bought the car. Does the reading affect the engine running? What sensor should be under the front bumper then? Finally is the display automatic or could it have been disabled?

I don't have any temperature display on central display and my garage said that there was a sensor missing under front bumper,so I assumed that related to the temperature. I didn't see what he was describing so am in the dark. If the temperature display doesn't effect the running of the car...

My mechanic says that the Air temperature gauge under the front bumper is missing. That in itself doesn't concern me ,but is the running of the engine dependant on the reading of this sensor,or is it just for internal display? Other than Renault ,where can I purchase one?

I know this is very very basic and I don't usually have a problem with any car but I can't get the blades to move at all. I assume that the two lugs are depressed (a bit like me today!) and that should release the metal blade?

Very embarrased- no go ! Anyone managed to effect a decent cheap repair without major surgery ?

Update on tailgate rust. Renault responded very quickly and arranged their agent body shop to view. The body shop said that the tailgate had been repaired previously and I could see that many of the internal fixings had been poorly refitted and that the inside of the tailgate was as shiney as...
