I got there in the end! Just about. Lol. Used a g clamp to compress it, whilst using an angle grinder spanner to turn it. Sounds a bit dodgy, but it was fine. Just couldn't compress it enough with my hands! Haha

Hi chaps. I'm midway through changing my rear brake pads, but I cannot get the pistons back in. Been trying for a good hour now, twisting them clockwise but they just will not budge! HELP PLEASE! Jake

Well, I definately need new pads all round as the rears are very worn through wear and tear and on the offside front, one pad is like new, whereas the other has about 5mm left on it. I'm not convinced the discs are totally knackered either. They just have a build up of brake dust/road grime...
