Cracking build! How much of a difference did the cup shocks make over the standard items?

Sorry to revive an old thread. My 197 is on H&R springs and standard shocks, about to do the alignment on the hunter in work. Anyone recommend values for a fast road setup. Car isn't a daily, does 40 miles a week..... quickly!

If you got a batch of these going you'd sell them all day long, there's no decent solutions out there.

@Minimaxman , thank you for that. Need to get the face off, tried the ratchet and the pliers to hold it steady but no joy. Looks very straightforward.

How did this go for you in the end. I'm about to cut through the housing/bolts. Would appreciate any tips you might have.

That's exactly what I did, and it unlocked straight away and started, ran no problem. My only issue is that I have no dipped lights as theres no power coming to the relay (all others work fine incl fogs).

Guys, replaced the engine bay fuse/relay box with a 2nd hand item as my dipped beam relay melted and I had an auto electrician "repair" it to no avail. Swapped any relays/fuses correctly over and plugged it in. Relays clicking away (have dipped beams) but the car won't unlock the steering and...

Hi guys, I want to fit a fixed bucket to my Clio, however I want to retain my stand interior aside from this. I'm basically just looking for a better driving position and more comfot but able to bring the Mrs and little man for a spin sometimes. Can this be done/it it functional?

My dipped beam relay melted into the fuse box, so I had it repaired, then as I mentioned, my auto electrical guy fired them all back in randomly and when I fired it up again it fried a resistor inside so had to rip it out again and get it sorted.

Yeah I've had a look and it doesn't specify which goes where. But all the relays look the same (pins, size, colour), but there are different numbers on top. The dipped beam needs a relay with a resistor and if a relay with a diode is put in it'll fry a part of the board and it'll all have to...

I have a 2006 197. Non cup.

No, they're all the small black micro relays, the 4 Pin type. Etched on the top are different numbers and the letters A,B or C. I need to figure which goes where is all.

Saw this, doesn't specify what type of relay goes where.
