    Beanys RB 200 cup

Nice. The PS4's should be awesome. Never had Eagle F1s, but previous Contis I've had I've been really happy with. I've just put £800 of Michelins on the Porsche, so wanted to get it right first and not regret going for something cheaper/inferior

    Ross LY 200

Speedlines look great in black, but I had mint standard 200 wheels and got them stripped and powder coated gloss black with a hard wearing crystal lacquer top coat for £300. I was happy to use the standard wheels, and really pleased with how they turned out and how they look.

Nice progress thread Ross. Get those wheels painted mate :smirk: P1020465 by *JMR*, on Flickr P1020472 by *JMR*, on Flickr Mine will be having the big service with the belts this summer

    MotoGP

Good first race! Dovi looked comfortable tbh, riding mastery in the last corner. That said, Marquez and Rossi looked steady too. Could be an interesting year.

    RS200 Racing Blue

Thanks fezza Yeah Ive not seen the airbag drilled on any others. I know the Twingo RS has a blanking plate that you can remove to expose pre-drilled holes in the side of the airbag that gives a fantastic bit of extra induction noise! Nice to hear you like the Fusso coat. I've read that its a...

    RS200 Racing Blue

In this pic, has the top of the airbox been drilled ? Car looks great btw, nice write up. How's the Fusso Coat doing? I've just bought some for my LY200, not opened it yet, as everything a bit white this weekend

Which products for paintwork + layering wax / sealants ?

I'd go Gtechniq C2v3, then overcoat that with a coat (or two) of BH double speed wax. You can wax over sealants quite nicely, but not necessarily the other way round. Last 3 years I've been using Polish Angel Master Sealant. Its amazing stuff, the beads you get are so small its eye opening...

Finally gotten around to polishing the car!

Nice. Black Hole is great. :sunglasses:

    Catback Exhaust System opinions?

I'm a bit nervous about exhausts. Certainly would like to drive a car with the exhaust on that I would be thinking about before coughing up the cash on one. I had a Powerflow on my 172 when the oem box broke in half. I had a 2" system copying the original, but without the third silencer, it...

    JMR's LY200

Really looking forward to getting a coat of this on. I bought the Fusso Coat light for the RS200 and Fusso coat dark for the Porsche. One tub in fairness would do both cars irrespective of light/dark coat, but if I bought one it didn't add up to the minimum spend of £30 to use the eBay voucher...

    JMR's LY200

Bought some Soft99 Fusso Light Coat 12month coating for when the car gets a proper detail in the coming weeks. Will be interesting to see just how good this product is. (easy purchase as I had a £10 voucher to use on eBay so I bought it direct from Soft99uk)

Nice to hear it seems to have been sorted Ross :sunglasses:

    JMR's LY200

Finally got the car cleaned yesterday! Spent a couple of hours, and finished it off with a new product to me, never used it before but heard good things - Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer. Very impressed with how easy it is to apply and buff. Water behaviour sounds like its going to look...

https://gtechniq.com/products/auto/x10-ap1-lint-free-applicator-pad These are great, I use them for C5 and EXO, and also they're great for applying plastic dressings like C4, but at the moment I've been using Solution Finish and Auto Finesse Revive.

If they need polishing yes. Depends what colour they are, (you'd notice marks more in darker colours of course) but polishing will give a smoother finish and remove any remaining deposits from the wheel. I'd use some Iron contaminant remover, and APC or wheel cleaner, then polish, the Panel...

    BSB 2018

Byrne again for the title. Would like to see the Honda boys get some podiums again and push the leaders hard. Bradley Ray put in some good performances, could be a contender for a few podiums too.

    MotoGP

Big Rossi fan here too, would love to see him get his 10th title. Dovi did really well last year and Philip Island cost him big time. Would like to see him do it if Rossi doesn't. But in reality, I reckon Marquez will dominate again

    GTechniq C4 Users

Yep as LOCKE says, its Isopropylalcohol I would use Gtechniq's PW Panel Wipe instead. Get a small bottle, you hardly use any. Its cheap enough, and the perfect strength in preparation for GTechniqs crystal lacquer coatings such as C1 for the paintwork and C5 for the wheels. Get C5 on your...

The formulation of C4 and C5 is very similar. For example if you ran out of one, but had some of the other, you could use what you've got remaining. C5 is great to protect exhaust tailpipes too.

Here you go @LOCKE Wheels coated with C5 11th October 2014 This is a pic of the wheel after a standard wash taken on 7th September 2015. 11 months after initial application ! Just a bit of rusty water remains on the inside of the wheel from it dripping off the wet brake discs. Below pic...
