He only needs to have nudged a kerb though and it could have affected the balancing. My CRV was a right bone shaker like you say just before 70mph. I had the wheels balanced and it was like night and day. In fairness I had the tracking done too, but that just corrected the pulling to one side...

Sounds like it should be a pretty simple balancing of the wheels to be honest. Get it to a tyre place, ask them to remove the old wheel weights so they are balancing the front wheels from scratch, and see if that sorts it. Incorrect balancing does tend to raise its head between a certain range...
