    My LY 200

Thanks - I’d love to yes and start a little side business but honestly the amount of time it’s taken I really don’t think I’d want to do it again. I should have found somebody with a blaster and had them stripped that way but once I’d started by hand I was too stubborn to give up haha.

    My LY 200

And old fashioned style bleed done, managed to get a few large ish bubbles out of both the rears. Quite nice to have brakes again. Next on the list rear discs and pads sometime this week and also investigate a small metallic type creaking noise from the rear that’s just decided to start today...

    My LY 200

So the caliper overall is finally done, it’s took forever doing it in spare moments at work. All the old paint and corrosion removed, new pistons and seal kit fitted plus a few coats of VHT red paint (including the obligatory wind the Mrs up by using the oven) and they look good. The finish...

    Rear Caliper Shims

I thought they did, just wasn’t sure if other models might have different sized shims. The seller isn’t exactly quick in replying which isn’t helping, I might just take a punt for the price that they are.

    Rear Caliper Shims

Mine are a bit bent and since I’m busy sorting the calipers I may as well do these. Does anyone know if these are definitely the correct ones? Thanks. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263320094502

    Ultra Red 200 Cup FF

Yes very nice, I was so close to buying one of these a few years ago but the figures the dealer came up with were mental. I’m fairly sure the Öhlins were an (expensive) option in them as with the Akra exhaust.

    Supercharger Kit Proline Motorsport

That is a very valid point actually, I’ve been following their updates and for whatever reason (maybe caught up in the hype or something) I’d not even considered that there was no testing of the actual kit they’re selling when fitted. I’m sure the parts themselves will be fine as they’re mostly...

    RS200 Newbie

Ah another local, I’m in Cramlington. Got my first track day of the year booked at Croft on the 1st of March if you fancy it. I think there’s a bit of a mix on here between people who drive or tow - I personally drive. As for them pads, I’ve never tried them on track but I’ve heard people say...

    Car splutters after exhaust change

As mentioned above a good custom remap will help massively, RS Tuning, EFI or Engine Dynamics are the go to guys. They’ll all make the car much more drivable, you’ll probably not end up with much (if any) more power and definitely won’t be over what the car should have. Unfortunately as for...

    RS200 Newbie

Welcome along. As for which company to book through a lot of that will come down to whereabouts you are in the country / what track in particular you’re looking at and what your budget is - you’ll probably just have to shop around a bit and see. For me being up north I’ve only used Javelin so...
