    Mk3 200 gearbox

He did my cambelt, someone had been in there previously and messed up the ends of some of the shafts, he put in loads of extra work to ensure it was 100% spot on! Top guy

Review & video 200 with silencer removed page 3

Has anyone had this done with sleeves/joiners so you can revert back to standard if required? How much did you pay? Just been to a local place and the bloke said £80 to weld in a new section, £120 to do it with sleeves and another £40 to sort out the original silencer so it could be refitted

    spacers

Increasing track width can increase grip through an increase in roll resistance, although increasing the grip is not always a good thing as it means it is more resistive to direction changes. So put simply, more stable and not as good for direction changes.

    RS Tuner/Fastchip dyno graphs

I have a search but not found much. Is there any dyno plots about from people who have got a RS Tuner/fastchip map on their 197/200? I am interested to see what happens to the torque at 2-3k, plus the gains throughout the rev range

S707 STI - Those Recaros look familiar!

Yeah they are used in loads of cars. Mk2 Focus RS also the new one. Option in Audi RS's, come in the Corsa VXRs, Megane RS, Mini Cooper S GP Works had them, I believe some VW and BMWs also used them. I'm not sure if any Jap stuff used them, I know the Recaros which came in the 182 were popular...

Routing a cold air stream to the intake/TB? Pls help!

Are you going to an open or closed filter? If it is open, if anything does make it all the way along the pipe, it will just drop before it gets to the filter.

Routing a cold air stream to the intake/TB? Pls help!

Having it from the fog won't draw puddles up, unless the pipe was direct onto the TB.

    200 running Temperature

These are supposed to have a low temp stat in, so they run at a lower temp during normal driving and will heat up a little in traffic. Perfectly normal

    Head Unit

I think you may need one of these, although it should say in the Alpine manual http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/accessories/aerial-adaptors/ct27aa01-aerial-antenna-iso-to-din-adaptor

Any1 used 1 of these air filters

I used one before on another car, they are really restrictive. The surface area of the cone is tiny

    Recaros uncomfortable (wife)

When I first got mine, she hated getting in and out of them as she has a dodgy knee so it made it more difficult. Now she is used to them she is fine. Now issues with comfort either, I'm fine with them too and I tend to find a lot of car seats uncomfy due to a bad back

    Replacing exhaust manifold

I think there is a company on ebay which reconditions them for under £200

    recaro seat doesn't slide

Might do, but its dirt which gets trapped in the grease so I'm not sure how much an airline can push out. I wiped it, moved the track a few times, wiped again, repeat several times, then do the same with adding new grease.

    Track Only Car Suspension

Do GAZ make anything for the 197/200? They are very good value for money and can make something which is stiff enough for track work, they will make something to your own specs or can calculate it themselves.
