Sorry about this post mate but i got an astra VXR around this time last year after having my R27 and i got a remus exhaust and remap, and in a straight line it was blisteringly quikc, but just no where near as much fun, so lukily i managed to get my clio back You need to concentrate on handling...

Yeah dont regret it one bit. The main reason was the handling, that astra was **** in comparison, it just wanted to understeer, did look about going down the 18's, springs, LSD route. However I knew the guy i sold my Clio to and jokingly one day said want to swap for the astra and he said yeah...

I seem to have the best economical clio going, and i drive it pretty hard. Sainsburys Super - 33mpg Shell V Power - 35mpg 95 RON **** - 30mpg. I find that the super stuff practically pays for itself :)

Thanks, I used to be a member of the old clio197.net site, but then got an astra vxr so stopped coming on. But i got my R27 back november last year as it was much more fun to drive :)
