    Ktec Induction Kit Favour?!

Has anyone ever measured the dimensions of the Ktec induction kit? If not, could someone? What are the dimensions of the cone filter? Also, what are the intake hose/air filter diameter? I had planned on fitting an R3 air box, but my job has evaporated unfortunately, so looking to come up with...

Anyone Running a Lithium Battery on a Daily?

No not yet :tearsofjoy: Need to do my manifold really, but redundancy is now looming, so might have to tone things down for a bit

    Middle East Megalio

Welcome! I've seen a handful of R.S. cars when I've been over there. There can't be many Meglios though!

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

I did see this mentioned, but didn't find that much info about it, other than it being out of stock a lot. Mods, would it be possible to add it into one of the original posts, just for completeness?

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

It's definitely the best option in terms of cost as, like you say, you can replace the flexi with it in situ. While the other aftermarket ones are expensive, I would expect them to be better from a performance perspective, so there are still some benefits. Probably only worth it for those...

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

Yeah I thought about the Y-pipe, but it is expensive for what it is, and doesn't actually solve the problems with the standard manifold. My head says Toyosport, my modifying addiction says Ktec!

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

Continued... Toyosport/Direnza/Gravity This is the go-to solution for a lot of people, and replaces the factory manifold entirely. In terms of value, it's very appealing. Toyosport is the best known, but the Direnza and Gravity are essentially the same thing. All offer a bolt-on solution for...

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

Okay, so I know this has come up a lot but, as my manifold is blowing and I have been looking through the options, I wanted to try and compile as much information into one thread that will, hopefully at least, be a useful resource for anyone looking to solve this common 197/200 problem, or...

Good good, keep it NA. I don't really see the point in Meglio conversions myself*. *Ducks for cover.

Anyone Running a Lithium Battery on a Daily?

And it always starts ok? Have you checked the voltage drop over the course of the week? It would be interesting to see how it stands up to it

None of it helps me very much though does it :tearsofjoy:

Anyone Running a Lithium Battery on a Daily?

As above? I've been thinking about relocating my battery in order to fit an R3 Maxi airbox and, as I am going to all that effort, I wondered about changing to a lithium battery, maybe like this one...

Definitely order them, so you don't have to mess about like I did :tearsofjoy: You can then preassemble the spring/damper unit before you start.

    My RB 197

Update time. Fitted the new bits to the right hand side. This came apart much more easily than the left thankfully: Also fitted a Powerflex upper torque mount bush: And back on the deck, with all four Speedlines on for the first time (albeit in need of a clean): I repainted the...

    front shock removal question

Just to add to this, as I did mine this week... I used spring compressors to 'shorten' the damper assembly slightly, which made removal easier. You won't get them out without doing this, unless you remove the whole hub assembly. I did lower arms at the same time, so that gave me a bit of extra...
