Removing rear seats - any implications with MOT?

As above, pretty sure that if rear seats are missing, then the seat belts need to be removed as well to pass the MOT. Be warned if you decide to remove the belts that will throw up a light on your dash, which is another fail on an MOT. Easiest solution is probably to stick the seats back in...

Thanks mate, when you say bridge across do you mean with a resistor or just wire?

    Seatbelt Warning Bleep

There's 9 wires at my count going into the plug that was disconnected from the seat.

    Seatbelt Warning Bleep

Nobody? I have one night left to find and rip it out or spend the best part of a week of the bleeping pushing me closer to madness.

I really love that colour, nice to see something different than the usual choices too, very individual. Good choice of fluid, pads etc too.

    Seatbelt Warning Bleep

Theres an auto electrician near me who I'm going to use to remove the warning lights for airbags etc as they're no longer in the car and he can fix the the bleep too but just if there was an interim measure of removing it I'd love to, especially as travelling to the ring on Monday.

    Seatbelt Warning Bleep

Nice idea @nick's but as per above, the car is fully stripped, I have nowhere to stick a false buckle!

    Seatbelt Warning Bleep

Does anyone know how I can make it stop on my 200? With the car being fully stripped and having no seatbelt it's a little annoying to live with. Open to all suggestions including the removal of said bleeper!

Nice mate, really good feeling when you know you've got squeaky clean fresh brakes. Good excuse to get out and have good blast in the car too in order to make sure they're bedded in for Mallory

    Life

Set yourself some goals Steve, must be tonnes of stuff you want to get out and do, problem is most of us get stuck in the daily grind and don't dedicate enough time to focus on the real things we want to do. Goal setting seems a bit odd to a lot of people but even from really small stuff it...

    Car buying addiction

If you are a petrolhead which most probably are on this forum, there is always an itch to scratch or something new and shiny that will catch your eye. Pretty sure hard drugs would be a cheaper lifestyle but this addiction is at least healthy for you... just not your wallet :)
