Installing original radio- something’s not quite right..

Haha oh no! I hope you’re able to find this antenna, wherever it may be hidden. I’m a bit confused, though… what I have currently was connected to an aftermarket unit and in the link it says that “An DIN to ISO aerial adapter is sometimes required when replacing your original factory fitted car...

Ricambi tuning exhaust for MK3 Clio?

Hi everyone, I’ve been on the hunt for some time to find some manifold to exhaust parts not in the UK (due to the insane shipping, tariffs) and something that doesn’t require frankensteining/welding parts; as I’d like to keep the stock exhaust from axle on back and just plug n play. I came...

Installing original radio- something’s not quite right..

Poisonblue thanks for the tips! For some reason I missed your comment before typing my previous one- sorry about that. Excuse my ignorance but what do ISO and DIN stand for? Thanks again for the write up. I’m eager to revisit this as the area has been nice for storage but it’s time for a...

Installing original radio- something’s not quite right..

Right on! Yes, it had an aftermarket radio previously. So essentially by unplugging the aftermarket ones would reveal the stock OE plugs? Basically, the stock plugs are plugged into the aftermarket ones?

Installing original radio- something’s not quite right..

Hi everyone, I’m reverting to a stock radio that I bought online. It said it’s a radio for a Clio ‘06 and beyond, but one of the main plugs (first picture) doesn’t fit. I plugged the other things in the back but no sign of life at all. By the way, I have a 2007 Renault Clio RS 197. Do I even...

    The Definitive Exhaust Manifold Thread

Hey guys, I love the thread and options but do any of the aftermarket options NOT involve welding? I liked the Supersorint Y-pipe but apparently it involves some welding. I just want an easy bolt on- and for that matter, are there any components of the exhaust I can just bolt on but keep the...

    plastics4performance

Ohhh interesting. Good to know. Although that’s strange- I read somewhere they’re very durable and tougher than glass. Perhaps they mark easy, who knows. I submitted a question to these guys so I’ll repost what they reply…...

I’m wondering the same… Do they open the same as normal glass with the electric motor?

Searching for stock radio. Which one do my connections accept?

Thanks for your reply, Turkie. Yup, I have a 197. I’ll check in the morning if there’s a black box but I doubt there is from memory.

Searching for stock radio. Which one do my connections accept?

Hi all, I’m looking for a stock radio but not sure where to find one (preferably in the EU so as not to incur huge taxes upon picking it up) and I’m not sure which radio my car is wired for. I’ve attached some pictures. Can anyone tell which radio would hook up to these connections or would it...

    Fault code help

Good advice here. I picked mine up with 81k on the clock and the spark plugs were the first things that were needed. How new were the ones on there already? Did they replace all of them or just one or a few of them?

Weight of stock hood, or bonnet, as you call it : )

Oops, it’d help if I posted the picture, eh?

Weight of stock hood, or bonnet, as you call it : )

Whoa! Yes, negligible. Plus, I don’t want to lose the usefulness of my windshield washer nozzles. On another note, is this a heat shield, pictured below? I thought about removing that because it’s starting to look “raggidy” but I certainly don’t want to do that if it’s a heat shield and...

Weight of stock hood, or bonnet, as you call it : )

Hi all, My hood, while in decent shape, certainly has its share of nicks and paint chips. I came across this fiberglass option which they claim is only 1-1.2 kilos. https://www.pesch.cz/en/product/fiberglass-hood-for-renault-clio-2007 I know our stock hoods are already tiny and weight...

Does my Clio have factory installed Xenon’s or aftermarket?

Thank you for the insight. Instead of ripping it out, the Xenon’s are quite nice so they’ll certainly be staying. They certainly don’t seem cheap to install…

Does my Clio have factory installed Xenon’s or aftermarket?

Ohh so wait… the projector isn’t a type of bulb but rather an enhancement for the halogen lights? I have no idea what went on with the wiring and all of that. We’ll see. In my basic thinking I’d just remove all of the xenon wiring and hardware and then put halogen bulbs in and go from there.

Does my Clio have factory installed Xenon’s or aftermarket?

This is perfect, turkie- thank you. Will hopefully get some time to take a closer look this weekend.

Does my Clio have factory installed Xenon’s or aftermarket?

Lastly, if I want to put my projectors back in, what brand/type does the Clio come with?

Does my Clio have factory installed Xenon’s or aftermarket?

Yup- so it’s looking like you all were right. I haven’t had a chance to check the leveling sensors (not entirely sure where they exactly are but I’ll do some research). Either way, I took some pics of the hardware for fun. I do like the xenon’s but I want to keep my Clio functionally stock as...
