    197 Cup F4RT track car

Thanks very much! Tempted to get a set of SPGs (or Pole Position) to replace the factory Recaros but to pass NCT (MOT equivalent) here in Ireland they need to be adjustable/on sliders.

Great thread, just subscribed. If you don't mind me asking where did you get the subframe with sliders for the Recaro SPG?

    Constant Thermostat Failures!

Go with stock thermostat, it only starts opening at 75 and ends (is fully open) at 87 on the F4R 830/832, I'm sure there must be a reason for it! Most of other Mk III engines us thermostats that open at 89 but they don't have engine bays as packed as the RS The part number is 8200772994

    Hello from Dublin

Cheers! Thanks! This one has the panoramic sunroof, like you said it makes the interior bright and airy. I haven't used it at all since I got it working due to weather but planning on making good use of it over the summer. The only bad thing is that it ads up a bit of weight (in the wrong...

    Hello from Dublin

Thanks lads! If I make it up there the car will be really filthy as I'm a little under the weather and won't have time to wash it. :flushed: Thanks! Going through the How To section and flipping through the factory service manual helped.

    Hello from Dublin

Think it's time I stopped lurking and introduced myself / my car. Some of you already know me / recognise the car from the RS 197/200 FB group. I was looking for a well handling daily driver that I could potentially turn into full on / dedicated track car in few years. Was originally set on...
