The part number is the same (7700101762) it's on the top of your old one under the blue paint, also it is a PBT-GF30 so it looks spot on, just design probably changed (as the one on your car is most likely original from factory) and as far as I am aware 197 and 200 ran the same MAP sensor.
As Rene said about the Rotation links, many people neglect these, I have changed them twice in my 5 year ownership (last time they probably didn't need changing, but I am of the mind "whilst there I might as well" when doing suspension).
Mate that's cars for you, I have tools for changing an E38 viscous fan for example haha, if you need one again as the gang said the Sealey is spot on and cap fits Clio absolutely perfectly!
Yeah exactly same as mine, it was progressively getting worse until it was so dangerous turning I was...
Get yourself a pressure bleeder Liam, best money I spent (Adam Thomas then the Burrell's got one too), I got a Sealey VS820, I set it to 30PSI and it never runs dry and never needed anyone to press the pedal.
Good work on the refurb, my swivel was also fooked, the amount of play was comical...
Yeah I get it, but it's just double labour, but then again you could live with polybushes for years I guess.
Yep as it should be, glad you never sold it a while back!
Go Spherical Ben, you'll outgrow the polybushes and be annoyed you never went Spherical!
PS I clicked the first page by accident, I forgot how it started! So cool how far it's come!
Haha yeah same, like I'm bad at this and I started pricing up steering racks, new dampers everything, but when your logic kicks in it can't be any of them as it drives so well, just at those conditions, fingers crossed it sorts your problem out mate!
Yep exactly that Ethan, unless you have a proper ramp (which we don't) it's the only way really, so what I did was look at roughly the angle of the arms when on the floor and try and simulate this on both sides.
Undo the bolts first, then jack up the hub end (or lower car onto something, I just...
Clio update:
As mentioned previously I had done lower arms, some newer hubs, all the drop and rotation links done and it was fine, but then progressively there was this weird knocking noise when lifting off throttle and coming to a stop / pulling off.
I just don't do the miles any more so it was...
Sometimes cancellations slip the net on the sellers side, but this sounds like a fault on DPDs side (not just them, many couriers) as they don't allow "cancellations" or "don't deliver" after a certain point in their systems which is stupid for this very example!
I had it once where I was in...
Damn there goes my plan to run 12degs rear camber....
Of course Martin you're more than welcome to passenger, hopefully the new bits will make it quicker in corners (no power mods, just more handling stuff).
Last drive of 2021 today to gym and get the drinks in, it was really nice weather so I stopped and took some pics.
Plenty to do before the first trackdays and I've been really busy hoarding bits.
Happy new year to everyone, see many of you next year for some track fun!
Clio doesn't have loads of sound deadening as it is, so plastics etc will hardly make much difference, the vibrations will be increased so it's unfortunately one of the cons, if you're happy to live with them then go ahead as the pros of having less movement will outweigh the cons.
It might...
It's a chicken and egg situation, you don't know if it's gonna fail / what to buy until it's done unfortunately, you just need to take it in get it nice and hot and pray it passes, or start buying bits, but with a sports cat is should pass.
