One other question, would I open the bleed screws when the engine is up to temp and with the overflow cap fitted and engine running? Or am I best to do it with the cap off and engine running?

Yeah, I'd seen that thread. Just wondering if it is necessary to bleed it up if the heaters are hot and the cooling fan is kicking in? Apologies for the noob question! :)

Apologies for asking this, I have had a quick search but been unable to find an answer. To bleed the cooling system, is it just as straightforward as filling the system, running for a while with the cap off with spells of increased revs? cap back on when the engine is warming and then waiting...

Cheers guys, Supra is a 1997 Twin Turbo running at 421BHP. Clio will be staying standard as I'm under strict instructions not to touch it! :( I've also got a 1987 Series 2 Escort RS Turbo.
