You have any in car footage of you driving with your new ITG Maxogen mate? Is your car standard with the maxogen or does it have a remap first?

New headlights :D which ones should I get?

Hi mate. I have taken a look at the bulbs that you suggested above and they r really pricey like you said. Look nice though, however, I think I'll purchase the RING 120% ultimate xenon bulbs as what I mentioned above.

New headlights :D which ones should I get?

Hi Guys, I hear the clio are really tricky when coming to change a front headlight bulb (H1) So far all lights exterior and interior lights are working. When one front headlight goes out i'm thinking of upgrading to either one of these...

How many litres gbox oil do we need?

I am going to change mine soon. I've looked into alot of ones such as fuchs, millers and Red Line. I had only heard of fuchs, castrol and millers oil before but Red Line looks like it ticks all my requirements such as works from word go in cold weathers and protect sychromesh's, for the my clio...

ITG panel filter or maxogen induction kit?

That's not bad for the maxogen. I thought it would be more than an additional £60 considering the product itself is worth £250. In regards to not telling them about the remap can't insurance companies test the black box (ECU) to see if it's a standard setting or not?

ITG panel filter or maxogen induction kit?

You mean you paid an extra £60 ontop of your normal quote due to you getting a remap done? I thought it would be alot more than that, in the region of £200. it's worth keeping in mind. :) :D

ITG panel filter or maxogen induction kit?

I cancelled my order for the ITG panel filter as I saw it cheaper elsewhere for less. Having read through the posts on this thread about the maxogen, I'm thinking about not ordering a ITG panel filter and getting maxi instead and maybe remap. Want to get it done but not sure due to insurance...

ITG panel filter or maxogen induction kit?

Looks nice. I have had a look at Varley red top batteries and they are double the price of normal standard batteries. Again this puts up the price of a maxogen as you are paying an extra £70-£80 than a normal battery to get a redtop one so the maxogen can fit. Wish there was a way to fit it with...

ITG panel filter or maxogen induction kit?

I couldn't resist and have just bought an ITG panel filter to replace the KTEC panel filter that is currently in the car an was fitted before I purchased it. The Maxogen would be something that I would have picked out of the two but can't afford to throw £250 away at present and also get a...

    Door Pillar Vinyl

Cheers for your advice mate, I will look into some Aerospace 303 and if I can buy a little pot of it as I don't need much for door pillars and front black vents I will get some.

    Door Pillar Vinyl

I haven't tried any vynl on the door pillar mate but what I will say is that I have to spray some back to black on the black door pillars again as sun bleeches the black out so it's not as black and looking a bit grey.

    LY 08 R27 Chineham/Basingstoke Tesco's car park

Hi, I was coming out of Tesco's in Chineham at 8:10pm this evening and saw an 08 LY R27 parked up. I was walking back to my Albi blue 197. Whoever owned the car, it did look nice. Albi blue and Liquid Yellow are the two best colours without doubt in the clio sport range. :D Who's was...

    197: So, MPG?

Hi mate. I have a 197 and get the same 24.5MPG as you. I'm getting 22.4MPG at present with VPower. Bearing all this in mind I only do 12miles a day and keep my revs low and short shift due to going through urban area. When I have driven on motorways I get a max if 36MPG with consistent...

    Definitive differences between 197/200?

I don't agree with that guy saying 197 looks like a bag of **** compared to the 200. He honestly is talking out of his ass. I personally think that the 197 has a better front than the 200. The reason for this is because I'm not a fan of the black plastic aero part on the 200 front bumper and...

    cam package/k-tec

Looks interesting. Apart from it being alot of money. Am I reading it right and that the torque starts to build from 3500rpm instead of 5000rpm like standard? Also what BHP gains do you get from this? I would be looking to get my cambelt, timing belt and water pump done on the clio next and...

    Clio 0 - Lampost 1

That was an impact and a half. Glad the driver is ok. :) That tested the side impact cross bars of the rollcage alright.

    Insurance time again..

I forgot to mention in my previous post (above) that my insurance would only go up if I underwent a ECU remap which I haven't done yet on the clio

    Insurance time again..

Mate, I am suprised with ur quote. I mean I am 22. Before I got the Clio 197 I had 3yrs NCB as a named driver but Adrian flux didn't allow me to carry them over which was very frustrating. :( This means I am back down to 1yrs NCB which if all goes well will be complete in July. At...

Cool pics mate, not just the outside temperature. Nice turini's alloys as well. They look very similar to what is on 172 cups
