Looks like it might have been reassembled at a slight angle and the bolt has crushed the sleeve? Doesn't look wear and tear related to me that one.

Doubt you’d feel much of a difference in performance, you’re talking a few horsepower. You might notice a slightly smoother mid range. It’s not like remapping a boosted car where you’ll unlock a 20% power and torque improvement. It’s more about making sure everything is running right.
