Job done! You guys had it bang on, motor wasn't connected! doh!

ohhhh I see, I assume the motors are those little black boxes that have a wire clip into them, if so then yes. But I didn't manual adjust, I bet what's happened is they've auto gone to their lowest setting but the car was previously set to the highest so the switch in the car won't make them go...

Last night I fitted my new black headlights, and it all went suprisingly well... until I drove home. The light beam was pointing really low and even on full beams I could barely see well enough to drive. urghhh, this wasn't a job I wanted to do again! When I went over bumps I could see the beam...

I think it was autocar that got the 200 to 60 in 6.6, I guess with the higher torque through 1st gear that'd explain the difference. Also, great review by CH

I was driving with a mate who was in a 225 trophy, and he crashed behind me, from lift off oversteer. They seem pretty prone to it

I got my new headlights in the post this morning, but I'm at uni (with no proper tool kit) and I'm not sure what tools I need, so I don't wanna start and then realise I can't finish!! Anyone know whats needed? I've got a T20 torx screwdriver and can probs get hold of some standard screw drivers

Sorry to read about what happened to your car man, I wrote mine off a few weeks ago so feel you pain! I wouldn't be put off by a car without recaros, they can always be retrofitted, and can maybe be used as a tool to get the price down!

Yeah it's got 20% more torque at lower revs, I think they messed with the ECU and changed the cylinder heads a bit or something.

Umm yeah it definately pulls better at low revs, does feel a bit faster when you floor it and it sounds way better for some reason! Like, it's clearly the same car, but it does feel a little better in most ways and I don't know if it's me but it does seem noticeably less prone to understeer

That's actually different to what mine is, mine is a layer of genuine carbon on top of the original part, which imo looks much better than carbon dipping

No no no, I think it's pretty complicated!! I bought it off someone on here, I think it costs about £300 to get clock, centre console and strips done. Sorry, don't know who did it!
