Does the Clio 197/200 have a load sensing valve to distribute braking force front to rear? I was getting a lot of rear lockups on track yesterday which I've never had before, and trying to work out why.
Thanks
I noticed when I was doing the brake cooling that the dust boots on the SuperPro anti-rotation links were cracking and perishing. I'm replacing these before they split and lose the grease inside. I called up SuperPro (Octane Distribution Ltd) to enquire about spares.
They are £6+VAT each...
Also check your MAP sensor which is next to the oil fill cap, these have a habit of coming loose and causing jumpy symptoms. You can get brackets to hold them in place or do the ghetto fix with cable ties
Brake Cooling
My FortyOneDegrees 3D printed cooling ducts turned up and had a morning on the car sorting out the brake cooling setup once and for all.
To get a duct from the fog light vent to the caliper, I needed to get the existing screenwash reservoir out of the way as it sits right...
Mine is 1219kg with 5/8ths of a tank, full weld in cage with additional roof diagonal (I like symmetry). Airbags out, full strip and paint, carbon door cards, carbon Kevlar seats, ultraleggeras.
