mmm not sure stalling would be a cause of the knock sensor circuit....unless its pulling the timing back when the revs drop and causing the stall... as you can use timing advance to improve and lift engine idle revs investigate it and sort the error if just might cure it

should be a constant fluctuation of voltage reading if its doing its job, theres plenty of info on line for lambda diagnosis

mmmm might just be images from the bore scope but...that cross hatching looks a bit shit! there is also some bore scores as well, did someone just give it a quick hone and throw some rings in it??? shiney areas on the pistons...have they been touching the head? firing order - 1-3-4-2 no1 is...

check live data for lambda signal...could be fuelling issue due to faulty lambda readings

ffs! fuels not that expensive "at the moment"!!!! any pikeys around bet its them need some fuel for the transit so they can keep on tarmacing!

try rs tuning in leeds they may have something for sale

check live data on the lambda sensor see if its working correctly ie voltages fluctuating a lot/quickly

the green 200 did drive nice you could even get a good gearchange when cold!

fuel flap lock worked via central locking....thats the manual lever over-ride in case it fails

once the air bags have gone off it will need a new air bag ecu and programming in and the ecu unblocking as far as i am aware

checked lambda voltages.....could be a poor lambda sensor

air bags deployed will have locked out the engine ecu to stop it starting in case of fuel leaks

make sure throttle is fully open spin engine over for same amount of time each turn once done it dry...put a few squirts of oil down and do it again and see if there is any difference... (if its the rings the wet test should be higher psi)

so what is the "compression issue" then??? leak down test / wet compression test - results etc??? is the plug sooted up???

it doesnt have a gasket.....it uses a sealant between the cam carrier top and head.... before jumping in & doing lots of potentially unnecessary work...clean off the effected areas and then monitor it to actually see where its coming from
