I have some videos of the head condition so when I have some time I will post them up.

Of you're rebuilding the engine it would definitely make sense to get the head rebuilt at the same time/checked over new stem seals seats and valves checked and guides

I think the head got rebuild last year along with the rest of the engine.

Here are the Video of the engine borescope, I typed to get some of the valve but it was quit tricky to get them all in shot. Just out of interest, do you know the firing order of the Clio engine?

mmmm might just be images from the bore scope but...that cross hatching looks a bit shit!

there is also some bore scores as well, did someone just give it a quick hone and throw some rings in it???

shiney areas on the pistons...have they been touching the head?

firing order - 1-3-4-2 no1 is flywheel end

I think the head got rebuild last year along with the rest of the engine.

worth a pressure leak off test for peace of mind since it'll be open anyway since you will be repairing the bottom.
