031 feel great round town and on the motorway. 003 is definitely best on track imo. Even better with a laguna/scenic final drive.

A pointless mod imo. They do improve the location of the shifter itself, but do nothing more than look pretty and increase your chances of missing gears.

That's right. Often referred to as the lower swivel. I'd go for the cheaper one personally. I've ran them on track for many years with no issues. I would advise replacing the upper whilst you're at it though. But that's your choice isn't it :smile:

Are you doing it on a ramp or on the floor Callum?

I think it needs a smaller one on. Maybe a GTS one like the E92 lads all fit.

Sounds like a timing issue to me, but equally could also be an issue with the dephaser or dephaser solenoid. If you're at a loss, checking the timing would be cheapest to do, as you would only have to replace the cam caps on the right hand side of the head.

Turborenault may be able to offer some advice too. There’s a guy on there who put a Meg engine into his Twingo. You’d expect the Clio lump to be easier
