how did you mount the garmin in your previous chassis? the positioning looks really nice as a compromise of 'being able to see it' vs 'not being in marshalls faces when pulling out of the pit lane'

Garmin Catalyst ordered, lets see if this is any good. i heard the catalyst mounts are a bit flakey so might try the SW motorsport bracket. Also need a method of mounting camera on the cage, looks like you can buy go-pro mount convertors (action cam mount part no 010-13214-00) but cant see it...

i'll stick with the 215 then! the rear is mighty close but perhaps fine. not going to lower it until after next trackday as dont want to mess with the alignment, and probably get the right wheels on it first.

nice, thanks! I've got a decent amount of front camber so that seems fine (plenty of clearance even with spacers), but the rear less so - so chucking 20mm spacers on and i'm in the grey zone on the rear as to whether that will work under compression. will have to do some aggressive driving...

Is there a 'method' of determining best ride height with the gaz golds? i think my rear looks a little high (perhaps 20mm), and front could drop perhaps another 10mm. on the basis of running with a bit more stiffness (full soft atm, for transit/road) than i have now. though rear with 20mm...

Yeah that looks decent. Deffo would have just purchased these as even has the 6point under seat harness bolts. Oh well, i’ll see what i can do with what i have else could consider that. I still like the slider idea so others can drive it.

Haha quite likely. I have direct mounts for driver side. Passenger side is official recaro subframe. Driver side is a million times better.

Hah fixed would be fine at this point, i dont think the oem rail bolt will work. Might try the bolt in mount on that bolt. tbh the oem buckle is fixed to the seat on the tunnel side, so maybe thats fine.

Yeah, it does mean you’re reliant on the rails.. though if they failed then you're still potentially moving around with static mounted harnesses. Maybe i could use the floor rail bolt and bend it 90 degrees upright. or I'm just binning these rails / subframes and going direct to floor again...

Has anyone fitted harnesses to seats with sliding rails? is it better/acceptable to fit the b23a or other mounting bolt to the subframe rather than the oem seat rail on the cil side? Seems pretty tight on the oem rail and every time you adjust the slider youd have to adjust the belts. Some pics...

i got the bolt in half cage, uses isofix rear seat points and drill through footwell in rear. pretty easy to fit, but quite tight if you want to use the OEM belts (only because it restricts movement of the upper height adjuster). with a bit of fiddling/pressure i managed to bolt it in such a way...
