    I personally find the standard suspension good and find the cup shocks with Eibach springs (black ones need to check which type they are) a bit bouncy, I have driven very short distance on Clio 200 genuine cup suspension and that was not so bad on B roads at normal speeds.

    That should be the solar sensor that detects the sun's strength heating the inside of the car up used when the car has digital climate control. With manual heating controls its a plastic blank and the wiring connector has a location point in the dash to stop the end moving around making noise.
