Andy's really good in that respect, he had more power out of mine but dialled it back because he didn't want to risk a high mile engine. Seeing 211 must have been a relief considering you've only just built the engine!

Mine passed the MOT with no airbag because Alex kindly coded the lights out. I got a dished wheel as I like the wheel a bit closer than the standard column adjustment could give me.

We'll see how next month goes! I'd like to go back again soon. I did however book onto a Blyton day for next month. Saturday 21st October with Trackday Solutions. Don't think there's many spaces left, if any now. I'd also like to do Donington again at some point, just not on a Sunday this time...

So what's the plan for the new engine? Just new bearings and go again? Engine bay looks really good now, hopefully it's the last you see of it for some time!

Oulton Park - 19/9/23 It's been almost 2 years since I was last at Oulton and I've missed it a lot. Honestly one of my favourite tracks that I've been to so far and it'll take a lot to change that thought. Wet day which was going to prove interesting as I'd sold my wheels with "wet weather"...

I'm amazed at how those big ends look so damaged from such a short time with no oil pressure, just goes to show that if the oil pressure light is on, it's probably already too late! Good news that your fancy Schrick cams didn't pick any damage up!

Interesting to see a lot of weight still to be lost. Mine was 1180kg with just under half a tank, no carpets, minimal trim too. Call it 1200kg(ish) with a full tank. Mind you, weight isn't much of a concern considering you always go out together in the car!

For reference with a quicker driver, my car on MRFs can do a 2:18, however I don't have the same amount of skill or testicular size!

Mine originally had the OEM manifold with the cat knocked out, then the standard 2nd cat, then the same Scorpion system as yours.

They sound even better at full chat!
