Was wondering my gear knob is a bit of s mess, could I go to breakers find a good condition one in a normal clio and just change the insert ?

I'm putting corsa vxr recaros in my 197.. The seats have airbags so instead of putting a resistor in, i could just wire the airbag in, I dont want them to be going off by accident... but surely air bags in different cars would be wired the same I mean it senses resistance that the airbag has...

I can live without the air bags, just put a resistor in like my mk2. Vxr seats are actually cheaper than trendlines, i guess I could use seats from any car.
