Airbags... universal?

I'm putting corsa vxr recaros in my 197..

The seats have airbags so instead of putting a resistor in, i could just wire the airbag in,

I dont want them to be going off by accident... but surely air bags in different cars would be wired the same I mean it senses resistance that the airbag has not been fired and sends a charge to fire the airbag...

As simple as the headlight bulb circuit ???

Better safe than sorry would be to just put a resistor in, but anyone know for a fact that it would work ok plugged in ?

Yes if the resistance is correct it will work fine Measure your old seats and the Corsa ones
