Where does it end? 2003 Clio 172

Done very little with the blue turd lately. Other than replacing an upper gearbox and upper engine mount, I've just been daily driving it and enjoying it. Wes was bugging me tonight to go for a blast, partly because he got the Golf back on the road but mainly so he could drive the little 172...

2006 Deep Black Track Shed BudgetBoltOnBuild

Forgot the car was black if I'm honest... It's been so gross and dirty the past few months I was wondering if it was actually a shade of brown! PMS aircon pulley works a treat, easy enough to fit too. Longevity remains to be seen! Hoping to be doing Snetterton next month depending on work...

They did, we dropped the car off last year in June before Matt decided to close up

Well we're planning to go over on the 1st. Matt has been told this is the plan but he's been making excuses about the work not being done. It's a shame because the original Supreme cars he built were mega and done in a reasonable time. I understand things do go wrong but on June 1st that will...

Shiny. Also made sure my mates Clio will actually fit in his garage when we eventually get it back from Supreme. It's only been a year...:unamused:

Clio 197 Cup - Time Attack Build Progress

I was watching the live timing on TSL and listening to the commentary. I love that an F4R engined Clio spanked a pair of K swapped Clios with aero... Nicely done mate!

EBC RPX (in stock and cheap)

I rated them in mine, no real noise either with Brembo HC discs. Worth a go for the price for sure, I don't run any brake cooling on track and I never felt they were getting too hot and fading. Big upgrade over PBS Pro Race, CL RC6 are slightly better IMO but it's early days yet for the RC6's...

Where does it end? 2003 Clio 172

Had a bit of time on the 172 this afternoon, cleaned the inside again as I missed a few bits last time. Previous owner had used baking soda and vinegar to clean a few bits and I realised there was loads still in the carpet to get rid of. Decided to break the polishing compounds out too...

Where does it end? 2003 Clio 172

Don't judge me... This car was an absolute bargain and I can't turn those down. It all began with the usual casual browsing on Facebook marketplace of a Friday evening. I saw this listed for £900 down from £1700, figured it was a shed and I love a shed. Sent a message expecting to get told to...

Another French shed! Peugeot 306 XSi Targa rally car!

Got around to fitting a new battery and the car fired into life with no issues at all. A few weekends ago I got around to fitting the replacement cat and get a part number off the springs. Once the car was in the air I could see the bodgery that's happened to put the underbody protection plates...

Looks good when it's clean! Watching the onboards from Tom's E46 shows how planted the Meg is, really does look to be the full package.

Oh, I should probably add. The Carbon Lorraine RC6 pads that @Beany forced me to buy and fit are actually a very good pad, when it comes to finding out how broken the car is, I'll have a look and see how much meat is left on them. However they weren't much more than the previous EBC RPX pads I...

Teehee. Fire. This is the reason my diffuser is melted. Not much more to say that the others that came to Cadwell haven't already said. Weather was good, company was good, track behaviour was actually really good (other than a pair of pricks in red Mercs that refused to move) and amazingly I...

    Load sensing valve?

From changing the brake lines on mine I really don't think there is, used to be a thing on torsion bar rear suspension on old Peugeot/Citroens. I don't remember seeing anything though. Only other thing I can think of is maybe a lack of rear suspension droop? I didn't see them myself but several...
